Specific building information In 2019 / 2020 The single-hull motor tanker was converted into a double-hull motor cargo vessel equipped with two so-called injection holds and three pump rooms. The existing tank deck, together with all fittings and equipment installed on it, was completely removed and disposed of. The centreline longitudinal bulkhead and most of the transverse tank bulkheads were removed. The pump sump at the aft end of the former cargo tanks was completely removed, and all materials were disposed of. Two so-called injection holds were constructed in the space created. These were fitted with drainage channels and overflow pipes with hydraulically operated valves. In addition, three pump rooms were installed, equipped with a comprehensive bilge and ballast system. Capacity of the two holds: Forward hold: total volume of 1,126.486 m³ Injection sand capacity: 913.753 m³ Aft hold: total volume of 1,108.399 m³ Injection sand capacity: 899.068 m³ Pumping equipment: 2 ballast screw pumps 4 ballast / sand pumps 3 drainage pumps 1 fire pump 1 deck-washing pump 2 ballast tanks of approximately 220 m³ each

History Originally built as a tanker under the name Atlas

Improvements the vessel was converted in 2019/2020 from a single-hull motor tanker into a double-hull motor vessel for the transport of bulk materials, equipped with two so-called spray holds.

Maintenance The interior woodwork was carried out by Timmerbedrijf Hoogendoom BV in Werkendam. The electrical installation was carried out by Leeuwestein BV in Dordrecht. Both engine rooms are equipped with fixed fire-extinguishing systems. The vessel is fitted with numerous stainless-steel components. The vessel has been finished to a high standard.

Unique to this ship The vessel holds the Green Award Inland Shipping quality certificate (Gold). Both aft holds are equipped with hydraulically operated overflow valves.
